Cashews and pine nuts are my favorite nuts, so when I saw this recipe several years ago from Ina Garten, I knew I had to try it.  It is too easy and so delicious.

They make a great gift too.  Fill up a Mason jar with the cooled, spiced nuts, put the lid on, some ribbon, and you, are done.

1lb. unsalted cashews
2 Tablespoons minced fresh rosemary
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 teaspoons light brown sugar
1 Tablespoon kosher salt
1 Tablespoon unsalted butter, melted

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Spread the cashew out on a sheet pan.  Toast in the oven until warm, about 5 minutes.

In a large bowl, combine the rosemary, cayenne, sugar, salt, and butter. Thoroughly toss the warm cashews with the spiced butter and serve warm.
